Virtual reality is one of the hottest issues in the field of computer generation graphics, the establish of virtual campus is the key part of the process of campus information technology,which also has constantly become a key part of current Campus and Distance Education, in when, information technology is becoming increasingly prevalence. This article examines the issues of virtual reality technology between 3ds Max and Virtools, and take Huanghuai University as the reference model, which mainly focus on the production method of three-dimensional scene baked textures and interactive features using Virtools roaming technical problems, study also illustrated Virtools roaming technology, design and application of virtual campus system, the effective implementation of interactive three-dimensional virtual campus roaming system.In the actual process of design and implementation, this paper has been divided into four main aspects, namely:Firstly, the comprehensive introduction of the simulation of Virtools and the molding in 3ds Max, as well as its comprehensive introduction of technical aspects;Secondly, analysis on the system design requirements and design on the functional modules, which mainly focus on the virtual campus scene layered design operation. Then designs the Functional modules and operates the interaction systems on this basis, and thus can effectively create the feasibility of the overall system architecture. In the process of design this system, campus images and architectural textures and other aspects of building should be collected effectively, and select a appropriate way of molding approach in order to achieve the future of realness of three-dimensional. At the same time, effectively concluding the data of three-dimensional model into 3ds Max platform, more accurate information related parameters viable operating and processing, thus ensuring the user to preview the effect of the process, its effect is more realistic and efficient.Thirdly, system design is key to achieve the model of virtual campus scene technology. In the actual design process, we also comprehensively optimized the building models. On this basis, the effective operation of technology through multiple levels of detail, and then be able to fully teach model creation process complexity, improve technical processes in the system efficiency, and thus create a visual model of authenticity, virtual Campus simulation system related technical functions.Fourth, after complete the test of system, test the comprehensive of display system of virtual campus, and the eventual results will reflect on the process of actual design and implementation, which then can effectively fulfill the real demand of the universities virtual campus simulation system the and achieve the desired results.
