In recent years, the rapid development of wireless technology and streaming media technology, promote the development of video surveillance systems to the direction of embedded, digital, networked, and the transformation of from wired to wireless. In this context, wireless video surveillance system based on embedded technology came into being, which will undoubtedly enrich the banking, transportation, intelligence community, large shopping malls and other regional monitoring, and for the realization of the mine video monitoring has more special significance. Embedded devices are small, low power consumption, good reliability, and wireless networking has good flexibility, expansibility and maintainability, these features are consistent with the demand for video surveillance systems in the mine. The purpose of this study is to achieve wireless video of real-time monitoring under the mine, through the establishment of a Digital information network of a comprehensive coverage of Inoue and underground, to provide the essential data and information support for the ground scheduling command system's, to prevent the occurrence of safety accidents.This article first elaborated the significance of current wireless video monitoring and the development of present situation, and combined with the subject background to propose one kind based on ARM's wireless video surveillance system's design proposal. In the hardware aspect, use development platform Micro2440which take ARM9embedded processor S3C2440A as core, expansion camera and wireless network card through USB interface, design system's headend equipment with background server. In the software aspect, have established system's software development environment, including cross compiling environment establishment, BootLoader transplant, Linux essence transplant, root filing system's construction and so on. In the embedded Linux platform, through coordinated the USB camera to realize video image gathering based on V4L2; Realize the JPEG image decoding by using the JPEG storehouse, and completes the color space interconversion according to RGB and the YUV arrangement way; Choose the h.264 video compression standard as the video compression system algorithm is proposed to T264codec model based realized the video data for the compression and decompression; Based on streaming media transmission of real-time transfer protocol (RTP) and control protocol (RTCP), to finish the arithmetic of detaching/compounding H.264package on RTP protocol, and use the JRTPLIB storehouse, achieve real-time transmission of H.264video streams on the WiFi network, and finally proposed an adaptive algorithm based on the quantization parameter and the length of the RTP packet fragmentation to control the transmission of video streams.Through testing, the system realized the video signal collection, pretreatment, coding, sending, receiving, storing, decoding, display and transfer of the adaptive control, and other functions, meet the basic requirements of the video monitoring, and able to watch a better quality surveillance images smoothly on the background server.
