| In the current remote video surveillance system, real-time network video data transmission has become of great concern to the industry. How to design a video transmission system with real-time and completeness to achieve real-time transmission has significante meaning in the engineering and technology area now.According to these, and based on the in-depth research of the basic theory of multimedia technology and network protocols, the research project of the thesis is to research an RTP-based data transmission technology in remote video surveillance system . The thesis includes the following parts: Firstly, after comparisons of the various video compression technology, H. 263 video coding standard is chosen, It is a very popular multimedia codec, which used in the low bit-rate transport in the network, And then network transfer protocols are carried out to comparative analysis. And analysis the characters and data packet format of RTP and believes that RTP is very suitable for the video transmission. Finally, the thesis introduces the whole design project of this system and various modules of the system implementation, including TCP / IP communication modules, RTP communication modules, the video image capture and processing module.The system achieved the functions of video transmission, the network receiver, player, all parts of the module using Java programming language, the system costs low in hardware investment and can be update easily. |
