With the rapid development of the wireless network communication technology and embedded technology,the wireless network transmission technology has become one of the fastest growing technologies in the field of information technologies.Embedded wireless video monitoring system has become a major discussing object in the new generation of technology.The Real-Time transmission of data stream is based on the embedded system,which can make the system have strong preventive capability.Besides,it also can provide various services like process control,data monitoring,playing video directly on site and so on.This article designs and implements a wireless Real-Time video transmission system based on embedded.The research content comes from the engineering application project of Internship company and the system has some certain market application prospects.The research of this work is mainly via the technologies of V4L2 video driver interface,H.264 video compression encoding,video Real-Time transmission protocol and open source GStreamer multimedia framework to set up the Wireless Real-Time Video Transmission System Based on OMAP4460.We also propose a method of adjustment of code rate of streaming media,which can assure the video is reliably transmitted in real time.The test shows that the designed system meets the target requirements.The manly works focuses on the following aspects.(1)First of all,the overall plan is designed according to the needs of wireless video transmission systems.The hardware development platform uses OMAP4460 of TI company as the core processor and the software development platform is based on the GStreamer multimedia framework with C programming language.(2)Secondly,the capture module of video in this system is completed by the combination of the HDMI interface and the V4L2 video driver interface.Using the H.264 encoding standard to deal with the captured video stream for compression the encoding date,and the packet strategy of RTP in the compressed encoded data stream is studied.Through the combination of RTP/RTCP,UDP,RTSP protocol and GStreamer framework,packets lost in the transmission process are obtained as well.At the same time,the client terminal feeds back the packet loss to the server for processing.(3)Finally,a platform of Wireless Transmission System is put forward,and with the proposed streaming rate adaptive adjustment method,the client terminal can transfer the feedback to the server.The server can process the feedback information.System test shows that the design of the Wireless Real-Time Video Transmission System can attain the real-time video information,compress coding and implement client terminal playback,satisfy the engineering application of wireless video transmission system of video real-time reliable transmission requirements.
