Some food, like vegetables, meat, frozen food and so on, is easy to go bad without temperature control, so relevant state laws and regulations formulate that these products must be safeguarded by cold chain system. As large cold chain monitoring date scale, distributed storage, data format of heterogeneous, real-time requirements, and heterogeneous data source integration which is caused by different data formats among upstream and downstream enterprises'system, Beijing puts forward to build a cold chain logistics monitoring platform, to supervise the execution strength of the food cold chain logistics enterprises. This paper focuses on data integration research, and is based on the project "Food Cold Chain Logistics Key Technologies Research and Demonstration in Beijing". The project was subsidized by Beijing science and technology committee (No.Z101105053710004).At present, there are three domestic kinds of integration solutions, that is, federal database solution, middleware integration solution and data warehouse integration solution, to handle with the problem of heterogeneous data sources integration. The paper analyzes the deficiencies of the traditional intermediate integration solution, which means tightly coupled nature, long development cycle for web integration and dull HTML language design. Under the analysis, the paper puts forward a new open integration solution of supporting cross-platform and shielding heterogeneous data sources based on Web Service. Details are as follows:Firstly, the paper builds integrated architecture for heterogeneous data sources based on communication protocols of Web Service. And the architecture is composed by the presentation layer, business logic and data source.Secondly, the paper proposes four-layer data mode architecture including user mode, global mode, local mode and the data source model based on XML. The architecture generates local mode by packaging data source with Web Service, and manages metadata, database and field mapping table in the global data model in order to shield the heterogeneous data between data sources and integration platform, which can solve the upper and lower data semantic conflicts quickly and locate the data source.Thirdly, the paper realize inquires management module. After the analysis of data query process, the paper select the appropriate data query language, then optimize query rewrite process, to realize the rapid and accurate data processing at last. Finally, the integration solution applies in Beijing cold chain logistics monitoring platform. In this platform, the user can achieve queries and monitor services through single sign on the system. As conclusion, data integration system based on Web Service can shied the heterogeneity, and provide a uniform interface to a multitude of data sources.
