Well maintenance and management of mechanical and electrical equipments is of great significance for industrial production in practice. It is a commom way to detect the status of the equipments' vibration, analyze the detection results and report an incident as soon as possible. This method can help improve the maintenance of the equipments to a certain extent. However, it has its disadvantages as well. As embedded system continues to grow and Internet continues to be applied in a variety of fields, combination of embedded system and Internet becomes the trend. Therefore, an online detection network system based on embedded sensors is proposed here.That is, install sensors at key equipment, make each sensor a network node, and all sensors managed by the server form a ring. Based on the different function, the system is divided into two parts:the sensor nodes and the monitoring server.On the one hand, the vibration data collection, A/D conversion and data uploading are finished in real-time way on the sensor side. On the other hand, the monitoring server receives the data, analyze and process them, and in the end the Web server release the results on the internet in the form of graphics and information table. In this way, the equipment can be monitored both locally and remotely only with the help of Web browser, IE explorer can be taken as an example.The hardware circuit of the sensor is described in detail. According to the functions of the sensor, the hardware circuit is diveded into two parts, that is, data colletion module and data TCP/IP transimmition, the principle and specific implementations of those are introduced respectively.The principle and specific implementations of the application of Internet protocol TCP/IP in embedded system are described in detail.The sensor node software design, including each hardware device driver and the application program, are described in detail. Meanwhile, the embedded operating system's selection that is necessary in embedded system is made after considering and comparing several similar ones. The application program is divided into different tasks based on modular design concept, and the function and specific implementation of each task are described in detail.According to the software requirements of the server, multi-thread technology and modular design are adopted in the progress of server application program design. The program is divided into different modules based on modular design concept, and the function and specific implementation of each module are described in detail.Online detection network system based on embedded sensor is bringed forward according to the research results, and greate optimization and upgrading will be made if field experiments and testing are carried out as many as possible. The research and implementation of such system is able to bring great improvement and progress with regard to the management and maintenance of mechanical and electrical equipments.
