With the flying development of the information theory and electronic technique, the rapid growth of mobile user, people's various requirements for the mobile communication is growing with each passing day. The progress in communication technology has pushed forward the development of base station equipments. Especially 3G technology, which requires higher spectrum efficiency, more system capacity, better communication quality as well as consideration of better compatibility with the existing systems, makes performance of base station performance, including the characteristics of wider dynamic range and broadband, intermodulation characteristics, noise factor and other indexes, becoming higher and higherBroadband RF receivers, compatible with multiple communication modes, are researched and designed in this essay. Each system's parameters of receivers, including noise factor,3th-order input intercept point, adjacent channel selectivity, transmission gain, phase noise, intermediate frequency, sampling rate, etc, are finally determined by the specific index requirements for communication modes and the actual devices.In the design, superheterodyne receiver is applied, ensuring the transmission quality of signals. System link is simulated in detail, including the part of low-noise amplifier and intermediate frequency amplifier circuit. Practical circuit is modulated so as to ensure these related parameters of receivers meet the demand of system design.
