The digital microwave relay system is a wireless digital communication technology, which contains with high-frequency microwave technology, digital modulation, integrated digital multiplexing, computer control and communication technology. It is an advanced communication transmission mean, which is based on digital communication and microwave communication and have the both advantages such as large capacity, convenient to uplink and downlink, good stability for long distance transfer quality and quickly establishing station.The digital microwave communication with medium capacity and small capacity is widely applied at present. The desigers have explored a new point to point digital microwave relay communication on the multi-channel by absorbing the advanced technology of other country. The digital microwave relay technology makes a breakthrough and is paid more attention by all over the world. The digital microwave relay, fiber optic communication and satellite communication are three most important parts of modern communication transfer.The basic designing theories and the methods of testing performance are introduced in this paper, assumption reference channel, transmisstion quality, frequency matching in RF channel, modulating means, transmitting deterioration, performance estimate, distribution rating and so on.The structure of IDU unit, core technology and it' s realization are emphasized in this paper, the paper introdues the performance of the receiving and transmiting parts of an apparatus, also the circuits designment. the diplexermodule of the microwave RF unit is analyzed and designed, the practical circuits is modeled to realize carrier wave mixing, up converting, down converting, doubling, low noise amplifying,filtering and modulating and demoduling. The experiment proved that proposed approach is coincident with the testing results.
