Monitoring system is the main way to solve the safety problem of coal mine. As an integral part of the monitoring system, mine monitoring information display system is an important tool for staff to assess the production environment of the whole coal mine, so its role can not be ignored. At present, most data display system are designed based on point-terminus structure, and internal data transfer via the bus system, so these weak points greatly reduced the stability and reliability of the system such as no uniform protocol specification, limited transmission distance, poor data reliability and anti-interference ability. All these problems have a direct impact on the safety of mine production.The subject is supported by the JiaoChangPing Energy Company's project "Data-based control, scheduling and fault diagnosis and its application in the informational transformation of the coal mine", and proposed a coal mine data display system based on industrial Ethernet. Its purpose is to build a modern, informational mine platform and ensuring the safety of mine production. The new system overcomes the shortcomings of traditional system such as short transmission distance, anti-interference ability and data flow congestion. Also the system includes a new data display terminal, it reduces platform costs, improves efficiency and reflects the system's intelligent and modern. This article finishes the following three areas:1. Design the new mine data display system. It is based on industrial Ethernet architecture, and proposed and implemented various parts of the solution. This work based on the study of mine information development.2. Design and implement Inoue terminal computer application software system. The communication process of the system abandoned the previous bus system, and achieved via industrial Ethernet architecture and UDP transport protocol. The application is developed on the Visual C++and SQL Server database platform.3. Design and implement smart handheld terminal based on embedded system and Ethernet. The whole hardware platform design process refer to 《Coal Mine Safety Monitoring System General Technical Requirements》, so it is safety and reliability. The microcontroller of the system is ARM9. Other peripheral circuits are detailed in the article such as Ethernet, LCD, Touch panel, SD card, etc. The platform of software is based on the implementation of Windows Embedded CE6.0. I present the details of the operating system migration, customizing of the operating system, design of drivers and Boot Loader. Besides of these, this article includes the detailed design process of software which used in the intelligent terminal.This article shows the overall design debug and verification of every module. Experimental results show that the design of coal mine data display system based on industrial Ethernet is feasible, and communication process is stable and reliable. The system has a broad space for application and development.In the article, there are45illustrations,4tables, and32references.
