Detecting system of electrophoresis microchip embedded optical fiber arouses people's attention for its simple detection optical route, the optical fiber has been used for importing excitated laser and exporting fluorescence signals respectively. In the LIF detecting system based on optical fiber developed by task group, the fluorescence signals was received and sent to dealing and displaying by computer, it is not favour to the development of micrmation, integration and portable of detecting instrument for its hugeness volume. So the detecting system of optical fiber embedded electrophoresis microchip Based on ARM9 is discussed in this paper.The YLP2440 exploited board of ARM9 series was selected in this paper firstly, the embedded application software Embedded Visual C++ was adopted to design the control interface of detecting system. The received fluorescence signals of photon counter were dealt and displayed on the Windows CE with TFT-LCD, and function of serial communication with the microprocessor in the photon counter, data collection, graph display, data storage, data dealt and so on were realized. On top of this, the operating system tailor software Platform Builder was used to accomplish the kernel tailor of Windows CE operating system. In the design of hardware, the ARM9 motherboard of the detecting system was executed, including USB module, serial communication module, touch screen module and power supply and reset circuit module.Crossed, double T and curvilineal CE chips embedded optical fiber were fabricated on the glass substrates by using MEMS technology. With the constructed detection system based on ARM9, Rhodamine B, and Rhodamine 6G were detected on the above chips, including the lowest detected concentration and the separation of the mingling solution. The results show that the constructed detection system possesses some advantages, such as compact structure, portability, operated facility, higher sensitivity and repetition, which are beneficial to the development of microminiaturization and integration of micro-electromechanical system.
