With the advent of information age,The increasing importance of data has been manifested. How to ensure data security and provide uninterrupted services has become a so concerned technology in information construction of enterprise. Especially as the systems of financial and telecommunications, need to ensure high availability of the services, so disaster recovery technology came into being. Which IBM as the representative of a group of outstanding companies proposed a lot of effective disaster recovery solutions, they can provide good protection for data.In this thesis, the study include redundancy, dual-hot backup, three-machine voting system, disk array technology, cluster technology. My main work is studying the dual-hot backup technology, including the following key technologies, such as single system image technology, data replication, fault detection and fast recovery. Based on the above study, the paper analyzed the necessity and feasibility of dual-hot backup program to be used in RNC background control platform OMU, then divided the function modules of OMU, analyzed and described design and implementation of initial data synchronization, real-time data synchronization, file synchronization.Now the RNC 6.0 version has been in commercial stage, a lot of established commercial points of China Mobile have been upgraded to new version. And the new OMU platform performs even more remarkable in system stability and availability.Last part of the paper compute the time of the entire system stopping providing the service when the primary server break down (simulated by shutdown) in dual-mode, and in the some case show the response of primary server when standby OMU break down. Contrast with stand-alone mode, used data to prove the business value of dual-hot standby technology, then proposed the improvement in technology and vision for the future.
