ABSTRACT:With the development of China's economic construction, the scale of construction continues to expand and the construction industry workforce is also growing rapidly. Although the overall technical level of the industry is constantly improved, China's construction industry is still a labor-intensive industry, low efficiency, more hidden, poor communication, accident cheat, omissions and other problems still exist in the construction site safety management. According to incomplete statistics, in recent years, the total number of deaths in China's construction industry rises to15,577people, with an annual average of1416deaths, several major casualties have occurred. So whether the construction side or the national regulatory authorities side are in urgent need to design a real-time accurate records of crane operation and site conditions data recording system to provide detailed and reliable on-site evidence to ensure the fairness of the responsibility identification.A complete set of crane data recording system should include the recording equipment on the crane, on-site monitoring platform and management platform of the host computer. In response to this market demand, this paper completes the design and implementation of the data recording system including the hardware platform and software platform.The hardware design consists of two parts:the choice of the IPC, and the choice of video capture card.10moons'VC404card is chosen which takes Philips SAA7134HL chip as the main chip to complete the acquisition and analog-digital conversion functions of audio and video, and takes Pericom PCI bridge chip PI7C8150B to transfer data to the computer. Recording software on the crane mainly completes the audio and video compression function which will be saved to the specified directory in accordance with the time, and completes the storage of the control data of PLC through serial communications.This software programming is based on MFC, C++environment. In order to facilitate the review of the recorded data, a host computer management software based on activemovie control has been designed which takes the video player control options and capture function, to achieve4-channel audio and video's synchronous playback. This system adopts a series of shock and dust control measures, in order to accommodate the harsh construction environment.After the commissioning, the system has achieved the functions mentioned above with a good performance. Overall, the system is concurrent, stable, reliable and easy to upgrade and extend.
