It reflects the interactive features; also inherit the general characteristics of the exchange of audio-visual while achieving an on-demand education. They can actively select the content and form of education what's ever they interest in. making materials of Different formats relevant to the teaching content stored in the digital repository of teaching resources, Teachers and students can use any Web-connected computer to access video on demand server, accessing resources for teaching or self-study they Interest at any time.My thesis refers to the existing educational video on demand system extensively, summarize of their characteristics of applications in education and design this Video on Demand System suitable for the conditions of the existing hardware independently to apply to the teaching of design of digital media course. Project includes debugging and development of application platforms, systems management platform and database. Visual Studio 2008 as integrated development environment, .NET technology as the overall solution, system use SQL Sever to organize the database and Construct all the services by B/S three-tier model, Programming with C#, .NET and JavaScript, achieving on-demand with RealPlayer embedded in Web pages. System Improve the quality and user experience by advanced video compression standard H.264 producing Streaming Media. Improve database transaction processing by ENTERPRISE LIBRARY 4.0, System integrated teaching, information in a dynamic interactive real-time management and service platform, achieving comprehensive information sharing and interaction to provide teachers and students a more diverse, friendly and interactive teaching, learning, exhibition, exchange environment.
