With the maturity and development of communication technology, led to the emergence of new wireless services, more and more applications require location-based services. In wireless location, the solution of regional location to this problem provides an effective way, due to the emergence of wireless sensor network technology. ZigBee as the rise in recent years, a wireless communications technology, because of its low power consumption, low cost, network capacity, safety and reliability are widely used, the use of ZigBee technology formation of local area network, not only can achieve positioning accuracy.IEEE802.15.4 ZigBee protocol and in accordance with this specification, the LPC2103 on wireless positioning systemto design Coal mine temperature monitoring system. First, based on IEEE802.15.4 protocol and ZigBee standard, ZigBee protocol stack content analysis, the operation of the protocol stack processes and functions of each layer depth understanding of network topology focuses on the overall structure and design; and then in the position control for specific application areas proposed design of hardware circuit nodes, and gives the software design process. The design of the hardware system design through the LPC2103 minimal approach to design, with a serial port, LCD display and other hardware function, and in the core based LPC2103 ARM7 TDMI with complete gateway platform circuit design, implement and host computer communication, information node programming, the blind node programming. Gateway node circuitry includes a reference circuit and LPC2103 module circuit, both connected through the SPI bus way; the final design of experiments point to point communication and positioning test experiment to test communication and positioning system is feasible.
