ZigBee is designed for low cost , low consumption and low speed technology of wireless communication market. Its abundant and convenient application is attracting more and more persons to join among them . Network is for short distance, low wireless sensor network of speed on the basis of wireless sensor of ZigBee, with low costs radio frequency its, little consumption have, suitable battery supply power for a long time, can realize reliable operation steady in a long-term . The obtaining of position information of the sensor has important meanings in the whole network, and can well solve this problem through ZigBee technology.This paper has studied and designed a kind of wireless network navigation system based on ZigBee, include the coordinating device, consult the node and orientate the node among them, measure and calculate out and orientate nodal coordinate information through the intensity of signal. The system has adopted CC2430/CC2431 chip, and use the localization engine of CC2431 to orientate research.This paper accords with the current situation of the development of research both at home and abroad, has explained the background and meaning of subject research, introduced some characteristics of ZigBee technology at the same time , and designed and introduced systematic composition with two respects of software design from the hardware. Have recommend orienting the procedure entirely to the systematic localization function, has analysed and improved the localization algorithm, then put up and build up an intact wireless navigation system step by step, the precision of localization that pass experiment test finally, and has got final conclusion and some goals of working in the future.
