These hot"idols", who act to be clownish, gain unprecedented popularity across the mass because of the well developed Internet. They offer special attack to the society and serve as the unique case for the research of the theory of communication.Basing on the theoretical and practical significance of the culture of the clownism in the Internet. This paper, which start point is the clownism in the internet, illustrates the basic concepts from the perspective of the culture of clownism. Furthermore, the mechanism and incentives of transmission are investigated. From the attention economy theory, which is one new point of view, the author explains the causes of the spread of culture of clownism in the Internet.
