The Research And Implement Of Key Technology Of Network Management Based Web And SNMP

Network's scale is continually expanding, and its structure is becoming more complex. Traditional management of SNMP, which bases on centralized C/S mode, can't adapt to network's development. Aim to improve the distribution and flexibility of network management, and enhance the capability for managing heterogeneous network, people employe web technique. Owing to Web's convenient access way and powerful service capability, since the day when it was applied to network management, it shows increasingly superiority. Web Based Management has become a direction for the development of network management.In the article, the author researched network management especially SNMP-based detailedly, analysed the development and applications about these technologies, then studied Web Service architecture and the realization ways of WBM.According to the characteristics of SNMP, in this article the author proposed a technical scheme, which with Web Service, can be used to manage large-scaled network. In this scheme, the author adopted function-based module design method, divided the system into three units: web service, management platform and data collection, and then gave the ways how to achieve them. After analyzed some experimental results, the scheme shows certain feasibility.
