Wireless network planning is an important link in the beginning of the wireless communication network construction process, which decides the construction of wireless communication network whether scientific. This paper focuses on the method and content of the TD-LTE wireless network planning, mainly involves in the planning process and key technologies of TD-LTE wireless network.First, by research on the OFDM, multi-antenna technology and key technology of physical layer in TD-LTE system, this paper presents the application method of related technologies for the TD-LTE wireless network planning, which provides the necessary theoretical basis for the study of TD-LTE wireless network planning.Secondly, according to the technical characteristics of the TD-LTE system, learning the process of TD-SCDMA wireless network planning, this paper presents a process of TD-LTE wireless network planning. The TD-LTE wireless network planning mainly consists of five phases: requirement analysis, network size estimation, site planning, parameter design and system simulation.Finally, it researches the key technologies in many part of TD-LTE wireless network planning process, including determination of planning objective, analysis of the propagation model, the estimation of coverage and capacity, the parameter design of wireless network and the design of simulation process, in which the mainly content are coverage estimation and capacity estimation. This paper designs the method and step for coverage estimation and capacity estimation in detail, and based on the actual example calculates the coverage radius, scheduling subscriber capacity in uplink and downlink, the system peak data rate, and VoIP users capacity, and obtains the coverage limited channel under the reference configuration of TD-LTE system, control channel capacity and peak date rate, etc.
