Plant Information Management System Design And Implementation

Nowadays, the advanced High-way System has been built up in most countries and regions all over the world, which has become the chief channel of its national transport and communication trade. High-way system has played an important role in supporting the rapid development of social economic. However, it has also lead to the aggravation of traffic efficiency and traffic safety. As a practical way to improve the traffic quality, Intelligent Transportation Systems (ITS) has been adopted by most areas during the past decades.During the last decade, we have made great progress in the area of Intelligent Transportation Systems (ITS). However, for some history reason, we failed to establish a unify plan ever since the beginning of the development of ITS, which leads to the situation that local Transportation Agents build their information system separately and do not communicate with each other. The unified management and cooperation between different agents seems to be hard and will cause the reduction of efficiency. In this paper, I first analyze the development of High-Way Management according to my personal working experience. Then, I advocate a recommendation about the building of ITS Integrated Management Platform and even list the arrangement of building this platform. In the end of this paper, I summarize the paper and list some prospect of the development of ITS.
