With the advancement of informationization teaching in colleges and universities, means of examinations are changing during the information technology reform nowadays when the teaching resources and methods are increasingly plentiful. Establishing a question bank that makes an exam be carried on the computer, will improve the credibility and efficiency of the exam. As a tool to construct the banks of courses, the management system of the question bank will achieve the transformation from people-making-paper to computer-automatic-paper. Therefore, question bank management and text paper autogeneration are vital to achieve computerization, networked, and remote tests.From the perspective of waterfall model of software engineering, this article begins with a feasibility analysis on the testsystem of Zhejiang Industry Polytechnic College. Then it follows systematic functions for question bank management and test paper generation, by which a set of paper will be generated according to the selected questions and the set format, including a test paper, an answer sheet and an approval paper. Finally, its present achievements and improvement suggestion are briefly discussed. In good functioning, the question bank system has achieved its expectation and goal, playing a good role in the tests of computer courses of Zhejiang Industry Polytechnic College.
