The Basic Research And Production On Web-based Examination-questions Bank For Sports Academic Test

With the deepening of educational reform, computer application technology for its fast, efficient features, has been gradually widely used in various fields of the modern education. Computer-aided testing, as a modern teaching method, will become the inevitable trend of the reform of course examination, while the computer-aided testing is based on the construction of the examination-questions bank. Scientific examination-questions bank is an educational measurement tool which is exploited to achieve a particular set of courses through the computer database system, basing on a certain measurement theory and design philosophy. To establish an examination-questions bank for sports academic test is an important measure to achieve regular and standardized test. The main function of the system design is to set up physical education test database for academic courses, in which examination papers and test score for reference scripts are automatically produced in accordance with certain strategies and the corresponding parameters. The system not only releases the teachers from heavy work of making the examination papers and greatly improve their work efficiency, but also can make the objective scientific papers come true with the separation of teaching and testing, while the application of the system in the examination of Higher Institutes of Physical Education, it will have certain positive significance in improving the education administration and evaluating of teaching quality scientifically, and promoting the measurement of course examination of sports colleges.From the background of this project, first of all, the research describes the current situation of examination-questions bank at home and abroad, and introduces our national research on examination-questions bank of physical education of Guangxi Normal University for academic courses and the status quo of its application by carrying out a great deal of literature consultation and inspecting the practical application of examination-questions bank; then brings forward the significance to independently develop the examination-questions bank for sports academic courses and the feasibility to establish an examination-questions bank for physical education academic test at College of Physical Education of Guangxi Normal University. The article speculates on the relevant theories and technical specifications of constructing the academic examination-questions bank, analyzes the functional requirements of examination-questions bank in accordance with the actual situation of College of Physical Education of Guangxi Normal University, confirms the framework of system design, and select appropriate platform and technology for developing system. This system includes such functional modules as landing, inputting item, managing item, editing outline and composing test paper. At last, the article also analyzes the methods for overcoming several major technical difficulties.The system, by using the module technology and object-oriented programming approach, researches and develops the managing system of examination-questions bank and the feature of automatic composition of test paper. The findings of the tests on the three examination-questions banks have shown that the system can input items contained formulas, graphs and characters, can conduct the operations on items like query, modification, deleting, and can make use of different parameters to automatically generate the prescribed form of the word type of examination papers and reference answers for marking according to the requirements for different papers. The innovation highlights of the system: firstly, it can input the items contained graphs, formulas; secondly, it can conduct selective addition on item types; thirdly, it can compose papers by using the program as selecting test questions with preservation; last, it can automatically generate test papers and reference answers with word format. The test on the running of the system showed that: the system is of simple operation, safe and stable work, has a certain degree of flexibility and scalability, and is able to achieve the specifications and requirements on physical academic test papers.
