The modern aerospace terrace can load many kinds of remote sensing sensors of Characteristic. Loading these sensors to the aerospace and testing on the terrace, the cost is high, and the risk coefficient is big, and the development time is long. Therefore it is necessary to study these sensors'capability making use of the modern computer simulation technology. The tertian data are only given out to the now available Geographic Information System (GIS), and it is not satisfied with sensor image simulation, such as the radar and infrared etc. Based on this, this paper gives out a new method of battlefield's visual simulation using radar and infrared sensors, and the method is based on the foundation of sensor information. Firstly battlefield terrain building's method and the technology of 3D modeling are discussed based on the analysis of GIS. Secondly based on the analysis of SAR imaging simulation principle and the theory of infrared imaging simulation, the sensor information data of SAR imaging and infrared imaging simulation are built. Finally the simulation results of SAR imaging and infrared imaging are given out using view simulation soft Vega's radar imaging module RadarWorks and infrared imaging module SensorVision. The simulation result shows the effectiveness of the method. At the same time the method is GIS's supplement.
