Human Resource Document (HRD) is organized as a set of historical data recording the personal experience and performance for information retrieval. In OZ Technologies, as an example, manually HRD processing is time-manpower consuming and thus becomes a bottleneck restricting the productivity when firm is fast developing. In this case, it is necessary to develop a HDR system with aspects of being simple, efficient, and easily operated.According to prior analysis on requirement specification, modularity, as well as database pattern, this project aims to develop a HRD system for OZ Technologies. This system is integrated by seven modules. They are (1) Login Module, which manages the registered accounts and examines the username/password for the login procedure, designed for enhancing the system security; (2) General Information Management Module, which manages the meta-data of the HRD records as well as notification messages for the HCI functionalities; (3) HRD Management Module, where the system administrators can manage the HRD records such as browsing, searching as well as gathering statistics; (4) Log Module, which manages the system/user log files; (5) Database Management Module, which provides the functionalities of database backup/recovery and cleanup; (6) Management Utility Module, where various toolkits are provided, including notebook and calculator; (7) System Administration Module, which serves as a general controller for the entire system. The testing has been carried out carefully to verify the functionalities of the proposed HRD system. The validation shows that the system well satisfies the custom's requirement of human resource management. Furthermore, the proposed approach also provides a generic solution to similar human resource management affairs for other enterprises.Based on the Client/Server pattern, the HRD information system is implemented by C# with Visual Studio 2005 and SQL Server 2005 platforms. Such an"OZ Human Resource Management System"extremely improves the productivity of the tedious information management work. That is, we are able to standardize and optimize the workflow of human resource management and then avoid the human errors.
