The Study Of Weakening Phenomena Of Typical Character Report Social Functions In New Situation

Typical report has taken an important position in the history of Chinese journalism, which has had tremendous achievements and profound influences. But now the influence of typical report has been declining, its influence is less powerful than the past. The influence of the typical character has been decreasing, audience's receptivity has been weakening, and the social function of the typical report has been weakening. Considering the practical situation, this paper analyzes true causes of weakening phenomena of typical report social functions, by using questionnaire to research audiences'psychology to find out ways to improve the passive state, which diversity value orientation, young audience's psychological inversion, typical report's own problem and the impact of mass culture industry. These will benefit to the long-term development of typical report, and the writer hopes that other journalists can draw lessons from this paper.
