Placement machine is advanced manufacturing equipment. It is the integration of mechanical, electrical, machine vision and automatic control technology and control system is its core. The past graduate students of research group take QUAD QSP-2 placement machine as research subject, replace parts of the control system hardware (industrial control computer and servo control card, etc), developed corresponding underlying driver, while retaining its original mechanical structure. Based on this, the research improves the control system's bottom driver module design by further experimental studies, and designs the control system software of placement machine in accordance with process requirements and control timing requirements. After several debugs and modifications, realize the pick and place function of placement machine.According the work done during the study, the main contents of this article is divided into three parts. The first part researches the electrical components of placement machine, and builds a computer system. The second part is the bottom software for placement machine. This part analyzes the bottom program design of the electrical control system, PCB data management system, visual systems and Monitoring system. And achieve the basic control functions of each part. The third part designs the upper layer software of placement machine. From the man-machine interface design of upper layer software, this part introduces the boot initialization, debugging, control functions of the placement machine software etc. And according to the basic mounting technological process, analyzes coordination control between various components of the placement machine.
