Surface Mount Technology(SMT)has been widely used in the automatically manufacture of Integrated Circuit. And the key equipment in a SMT production line is just the Surface mounting machine(SMM). At the present time, the internal high performance SMM rely on the imported entirely, and give rise to the situation that, ahthough our country already became a manufacturing industry big state, but still not be powerful nation of a manufacturing industry.As a complexly system including optics, mechanism, electric and pneumatic, while on the same time is an equipment integrated with manufacturing and design, the kernel software of a SMM directly affects the stability and maneuverability of the whole system, and becomes an important factor which decides whether the SMM could complete the work with high speed and accuracy.This research take an inward SMM as an objest which model number is Quad QSP-2 imported in 1995 and scrapped in 2005, do embedded deconstruction and analysis on it's electrical system and pneumatic system. Take it's mechanical structure as platform, mount new control system hardware. And then do independent research and development on infrastructure control software, build the database of basic component information, and realize the CAD-CAM data transformation interface initially. After hundreds of experiments and debugging, the software of coordination control for the electric and pneumatic system of the surface mounting machine is completed, and applied on the prototype machine.
