At present, China's coal mines are basically wired communication device, relying on cable to transmit information. Whenever the need to call, we need to go where installation of explosion-proof phone. This caused problems for the daily work. When a mine, even though in case of the wired communications device can be used, the staff is sometimes hard to reach the location of installation of explosion-proof phone, which is difficult to get in touch with the Inoue staff, thereby increasing the rescue difficult. Based on the drawbacks in the wired communications, in this paper, based on ZigBee technology, the combination of wired and wireless solution for wireless voice communications. Close communication use the wireless communication, remote communication using wired communication. This system is extension and complement of mine wire line communications.At the beginning of this paper, make a comparison between ZigBee technology and the current popularity of several wireless communication technologies. Described in detail the characteristics of ZigBee and the specific frame. Through specific studying AMBE-1000 voice chip, combined with the characteristics of ZigBee technology, ultimately achieve the wireless communication system which based on the ZigBee. The system uses a low voice rate of 2.4kbps. Successful transmission of voice signals use the ZigBee and ZigBee used underground. Wired communication systems using CAN bus keep in touch with Inoue staff. The starting point of the system is low cost, low power consumption, and improves the function of cable systems, to application of simple, reliable, good performance, to meet the basic needs of the call to improve the efficiency of the mine staff.Through experimental tests to verify that the system is stable, clear sound, anti-noise ability. The system is a cheap and practical underground wireless voice communication system, with a certain application.
