The environment of underwater acoustic channel is very bad. We need a acoustic underwater communication systems to communicate in the water because of the limited bandwidth and the time-varying and space-variant nature of the underwater acoustic channel.The main purpose of thesis is to design DSP-based acoustic underwater communication system platform. The paper first introduces the background and significance of thesis. Second it described the structure and history of the acoustic underwater communication system. The paper detailed analysis the design of hardware and software interface in the system.In the design of hardware, the paper detailed introduces the main chip and answers the cause why we select it. The paper realizes A/D,D/A transform of the voice in the TLV320AIC23, realizes voice encode and decode in the AMBE-2000, extracts voice in the CPLD, loads the algorithm in the DSP. This is the foundation of the paper.In the design of software, the paper produces the procedure of sequential, the procedure of configure AMBE-2000, the procedure of reset AMBE-2000, the procedure of extracts voice in the CPLD. the paper produces the procedure of audio playback, the procedure of configure McBCP, the procedure of configure TLV320AIC23B by I2C, the procedure of bootloader in the DSP. This is the ridge beam of the paper.Finally, the paper detailed analysis the debugging process and testing result, listing the problem and the resolve about designing.
