Design And Implementation Of Duty Management System For Barracks

The intelligent on duty management system for barracks is an important part for automation management. Supported by the local area networks in barracks, this management system can provide real time circumstances inside, outside and around the barracks, which can collect, query, and making statistics of all the things timely. As a result, the system can provide the policy and legal support and feasible solutions for dealing with the urgent and subtle problems inside and around barracks. Therefore, it will play an important role in improving efficiency, standardizing the on duty working programs, and sharing resources.After breaking through the key technologies, this thesis has analyzed the detailed requirements of system and completed the whole design. The intelligent on duty management system for barracks includes eight function subsystems, which are listed as follows:the officer on duty subsystem, the soldier on duty subsystem, barracks entering management subsystem, video monitoring subsystem, appealing to superior management subsystem, common used resources management subsystem, access control management subsystem, assistant decision-making subsystem, and system maintenance subsystem. Moreover, this thesis can provide assistant decision-making support for barrack on duty. The whole system adopts client/server frame and assigns different operating right for users. Delphi7 is selected as the developing tool for foregrounding for its high efficiency, flexibility, and visualization. Moreover, Windows 2000 server is selected for operating system of server. Finally, SQLSERVER2000 is adopted for background database.The testing results demonstrate that the intelligent on duty management system for barracks proposed by the thesis can achieve the requirements and provide a technical support for military automation management.
