Automotive electronic control system is the critical core of automotive body control, chassis control and power control. The software technology is the core technology of automotive electronics. Automotive electronic control system's features are increasingly rich and the structure grows complexity, so the software structural is more and more complex. How can the underlying software be reused on a variety of hardware,how to reduce labor costs and improve reliability, becoming the major concern at present.This paper is based on the standard system of automotive electronics basic software platform, It fully studies the domestic and foreign-related technologies and standards, research the automotive electronic control systems hardware platform and hardware abstraction of the key automotive technology, design and development the drivers of automotive electronics basic software platform, and realize the abstraction of electronic control unit (ECU) and external devices of the microcontroller. These studies provide support and function calls for related software components in automotive electronics basic software platform, such as embedded real-time operating systems and system services, storage services, communication services and other services and management components (including the drivers'ownmanagement components) . Which describes the methods of design and implementation of the I/O device drivers and the hardware abstract of I/O device, and also the CAN device drivers and the hardware abstract of CAN device. And validate in 9S12XEP100 chip platform.The research effectively shield the diversity of the underlying hardware, operating system and the upper range of services not directly face the specific hardware environment.Hardware and software systems are well separated.It greatly improves the portability and reuseness. Project results will be applied to domestic own-brand cars, providing drivers with the hardware and abstract software related to the industry platform porting, integration and related technical support services.
