Automobile is becoming more and more popular in everyday life. As one of themost important portion of automobile industry, automotive electronics has facedincreasing problems of system complexity. Hence, the world’s automotive manufacturesfounded the AUTOSAR organization and proposed AUTOSAR specifications in2003.These specifications had been approved quickly in automotive industry. As the nextgeneration software architecture of automotive electronics, AUTOSAR specificationsdefine a series of automotive electronics software development methods, which improvethe reusability and portability of software.Configuration tools are regarded as important tools to achieve customizable andscalable embedded system. The traditional configuration tools often lack scalability andmaintainability. Based on the domestic and overseas research of configuration tools andactual requirements of automotive electronics, interface automatic generation andconfiguration code generation methods are put forward. Then a general configurationtool prototype for basic software of automotive electronics is designed and implemented.The main work of this thesis is as follows:(1) To solve the configuration problems such as large number of basic softwaremodules, too much parameters, and type complicated, a method of generatinginterface dynamically has been designed and implemented. This solutionreduces the coupling of configuration tools and basic software. In the meantime,the generality of configuration tool is improved.(2) To solve the code issue of too much target platform, an auto-generationtechnology based on the template is designed and enforced. This technologyseparates the code logic and configuration tool, so as to lower down thecoupled degree between them, thus configuration tools can adapt to a variety oftarget platform.(3) The thesis implements completely the whole process of AUTOSARconfiguration, including ECU configuration, model verification and code generation. The test and application results show that the configuration tool hasa certain practical value.
