The informationization of army has been strengthened under the chairman Hu'development theory of new era about army. There are more and more information devices in army. The work of informatization of old equipment in army is going on. In recent years, a great progress of army informatization has been made. With the developing of information hardware, the building of information software is also got ahead. Various MIS systems appear in the daliy army work. Thoese systems play a more and more important part in daliy rutin work.There is a technical army unit has more and more scientifical tasks in the future. They need a system based on their local computer net to enhancne the efficiency and quality of project management and to reduce the cost of project. This System can learn and control the whole process of a project from begin to end and realize the computerization of data management. So there is a need to build a research project management system.This thesis introduces the background of"research project management of a army unit"at first, and the requirement analysis is also presented. The detailed design and realization of this system is described in detail. At last, the testing way of the system is introduced and the conclusion of the development of the system is made.This system development platform is Visual Studio .Net 2008. Its architecture is based on B/S model using ASP.Net technology and C# programme language. The system database is constructed by SQL Server 2005.After a test runing in user unit, the system gained applause.
