The emergence of the P2P technology solved the problem, not the server and the client strictly distinguish the distributed technology effectively solve the traditional C/S mode a series of problem, so bring currently in various video on demand, live system most used P2P mode, and realize the download, watch, upload the sharing of the model.This thesis based on the campus work reality, characteristics in local network design and implementation of a LAN based P2P video on demand and streaming media management system, the main job:(1) To realize the video of the vod system web client systems, the completion of the video search, video on demand, video introduction of basic function, at the same time take advantage of user demand times to achieve video click ranking, the user can choose to watch popular films; We can use words match and lead to the similar video list, can for the user choice favorite similar video; Realize the user login, registered and message function, and the evaluation for video communication.(2) to realize the streaming media management server system, completed the login, functionality and user registration management functions, and may, according to the user access for different operation, mainly including video upload video review, video, by function, at the same time the user message and comment, and may, according to the audit users to upload video and online time to realize the user rewards and punishments measures used to download the video and love.In this thesis, the development of the system adopts B/S model of JSP dynamic web technology and Ajax web development such as technology, the system development SQLServer2005 as database platform and as a Tomcat web publishing platform.
