The Research Of Development Prospects On Narrative Music Video Of Chinese Mainland

Music Video is a form of art which developed very quickly in recent decades. It has been active in the categories of modern art that relies on its dynamic passion pictures and affable gentle image and touching stories. Nowadays, the momentum of development of Music Video is: Music Video from developed country started relatively early and always maintain stable development state in the decades. Music Video from Chinese Mainland started relatively late. However, it gradually began to decline after the glory which came from 1990s. The persons who work for this field should think deeply the reasons of this gap between Chinese Mainland and developed country.This thesis divided into four chapters to research the development prospects on narrative Music Video of Chinese Mainland. Chapter one began with the origin of Music Video and Narratology. It stated the birth, development, category and development situation in order to introduce the background and theoretical basis. Chapter two gave the example to analyse the classic narrative Music Video. Included, The Same Old Song from Chinese Mainland; Possible Or Impossible from Chinese Taiwan; Miss The Woman from South Korea; Remember The Time from America. This chapter analysed that why they became the classics from conflict, plot, structure, clue, viewpoint five aspects. Chapter three analysed the problems of narrative Music Video of Chinese Mainland from similar theme and fuzzy narrative, single style and similar plot, lack of suspense and details, limitation and challenge aspects. Chapter four put forward some improvement suggestions for narrative Music Video of Chinese Mainland. Included, improve works quality; expand viewing crowd. It analysed the future direction of Music Video programme and Music Video megagame of Chinese Mainland.The purpose of this thesis is: put forward the narrative Music Video of Chinese Mainland's own problems and some improvement suggestions after researching it and hoping it can benefit the creators of Music Video of Chinese Mainland. The type of art will exist long long and have more excellent works.
