From The "Main Theme" To The "New Mainstream":An Innovative Study Of Narrative In The Age Of Awakening

TV dramas with major revolutionary historical themes are an important part of China's mainstream film and television works,which are of great significance to the construction of national image and the cohesion of people's patriotic feelings.2021 is the 100 th anniversary of the founding of the Communist Party of China,The Age of Awakening,as one of the celebratory dramas,has become a "dark horse" in the historical revolution THEME TV series with high ratings and high topic discussion,showing innovative differences from other mainstream film and television dramas in portraying the historical events of the new cultural movement and the founding of the Communist Party of China,and has a certain representative degree of topic creation and communication effectiveness.Starting from the theoretical perspective of narrative exploration,this paper comprehensively analyzes the specific characteristics of the play in different narrative angles for the social picture,character roles,specific imagery and other contents in the play.The character narrative in the play forms the temporal and spatial continuity of the plot through the fluidity of time and scene,and the parallel multiple timelines and multi-dimensional space coexist,which expands the multiple dimensional performance perspective for the shaping of the character image.In the structural narrative of plot development,through the sequential and connecting elements,the integrity between different narrative units is guaranteed,and the expression of contradictions and conflicts is completed by borrowing the prominence of special images.At the same time,the play also realizes the rendering of restrained emotions in the situation through the angle of the camera and the change of scenery.The interactivity of the character narrative,the integrity of the structural narrative and the empathy of the camera narrative together explain the reasons behind the strong effective communication and high-topic discussion of the drama,and put forward innovative improvement directions for the creative expression of the new mainstream film and television drama in cultural significance.
