C / S Mode Municipal Energy Metering Remote Meter Reading System Based On The Design And Realization

With the braod application of communication technology which is based on computer in electric system, the electric industory develops fast. The traditional meter reading could not statisfy the market for its low efficiency, hard working and unprotecive of user's privacy. During the transformation of rural power network, most of the power companies choose IC electric energy meter to solve the problems caused by artificial metering, however , after years'practice, the solution has failed.In 2009, the strong smart grid was proposed. The remote automatic meter reading system is a key part of the project. The paper analyzes the remote automatic meter reading under C/S mode; elaborates the problems and technologies involved in the design and realization of the system; and then on the basis of this, it proposes the whole structure and develops a remote automatic meter reading system which can be used in the city region.The system can realize remote automatic meter reading quickly and accuratly and inquery the meter in real time according to the power companise demand. It can create all kinds of electricity utilization statistic analysis, realize modern management in charging, business expansion, consumption analysis and distribution planning, which makes the users convenience and promotes the working efficiency.At present, the system has already been used. The results of running and testing show that the system can satisfy the power companies and users'need and achieved a nice effect.
