In the 21st century, the internet which is developing unprecedently around the world has put enormous influences on our social life for all kinds of public events and public opinions. It is an important issue for scholars to be faced with influences on the social development brought by the public events. Bulletin Board System as a platform for the communication of public events, has an indispensable function in spreading and dealing with various events. It is worthwhile to think over the role played by the public opinion in BBS.BBS combines with the advantages of mass media and interpersonal communication, has the characteristics of convenient, quick, highly effective feedback and so on, and has became a new kind communication pattern. It's just these characteristics of BBS that attracting active participation from internet users. It is bound to create opinion focusing, particularly when public events that receives much concern occur in BBS, thereby affectting the real life, and make the intervention on social from internet users showed a strong trend. Recent years, with the enhancement of citizenship and participation awareness from internet users, the public's attention has not only stay on their personal interests or the occurrence around them, but also the entire society, especially public events, and show a strong sense of justice and responsibility. Then, people will choose a common platform to participate in the public events. BBS gradually demonstrate its unique advantages go with the popularity of internet, and provide an important flatform for public participation and public discussion, on which the influence of public opinion is very ludge. Looking from public events arousing heat discusses, the network opinions in the BBS play an important role in the development of public events. As the public event occurs, its further development often receives the synthesis restrictions from many factors, among which the grade administration and control reasonably are essential restrictive factors. That's because traditional media plays as "auxiliary booster", and interact with the new media BBS in the same time, that making related public events become the focus of public attention. What is worth mentioning is that, along with the public event's developing, attention of people in BBS is also rising, which influences on public opinion and even the development of event from beginning to the end.This article explored and analysed the publicsphere features and the communication structure of information and opinions in BBS. And select a typical case study of the "5.7" event of traffic accident spreaded in BBS, to see the public opinions and social impact, and analysis the characteristics of BBS in communicating public events. This paper focuses on analysis the problems of BBS in communicating public events, and proposes appropriate countermeasures to solve these problems, combining with two major factors affecting communication. Looking forward a better performance in the response to and communicate with public events in BBS, and realize the BBS's social function. Development of network has brought mankind into a new information society, and the network opinions will effect on real life increasingly with the diffusion of ubiquitous influence of network, and this undoubtedly will be a challeng to the speed and depth of study in the communication theory. The papper studied on the communication of public events in BBS, hoping to give a good help to the existing research of network communication.
