Aiming at the situation that the openness and interoperabilityof various field bus is difficult to unity, and devices supporting different bus can not communicate directly,we developed a gateway DGW300 supporting multi-industry communication protocols,which supports Modbus/RTU, Modbus/TCP, Modbus/UDP, Profibus-DP four kinds of communication protocols basing on embedded systems. Devices of different communication protocols can interact with datas through the gateway DGW300.The function and the operating environment of industrial Gateway DGW300 require users to configure the gateway parameters and monitor the parameters of the slave device, so we need to develop a monitoring software modifying the gateway device, which can achieve the gateway's configuration management through the serial communication and the Ethernet, monitor the real-time data of the slave device, upload the data file of the SD card remotely. The software supports communication protocols of Modbus RTU,Modbus TCP/UDP,Modbus Cmd,SD Cmd and so on. The design of software makes use of priority command queue combined with MFC MSComm control to achieve efficient serial communications; under the Windows-based environment, makes use of network theory of Socket with Client-Sever model and multi-threaded communication technology to realize the network communications.In addition, according to the special SD Cmd protocol,this paper propose a method to upload data remotely,and store data in txt files after data analytical. Aiming at the situation of difficulty of wiring, Combined with the emerging ZigBee wireless communication technology, we develop a wireless expansion module using RF module of CC2430,which achieve wireless communication based on ZigBee.We design the driving program using IAR embedded tools, realize wireless data transmission based on the protocol of ZigBee,which meets the need of host computer to monitor the data of gateway devise through ZigBee wireless module.The datas of a series of experiments show that host computer can make use of the gateway monitoring software GWConfig to achieve the configuration management through the serial communication and the Ethernet. The host computer can alse achieve real-time monitoring of dates from the device, achieve remote uploading of datas within the text of the SD card. At the same time, host computer can access the gateway data from the device through the infinite expansion module within wireless communication, achieving the combination of wired and wireless network. At current, the gateway monitoring software and wireless expansion module has been put into use along with the gateway.
