Regarded as the main platforms of publishing academic articles for higher institutions in teaching and scientific research, high-school sci-tech periodicals play a vital role in strengthening academic exchanges, promoting technological development, cultivating talents, having positive influence on promoting scientific achievements, theoretical innovation of science and technology, and the development of high-school disciplines. With the deepening of culture system reform and the rapid development of information technology network, the major challenge of college science periodicals is how to improve their quality and increase their market competitive power.First, referring to the perception quality concept in marketing theory, this paper studies the evaluation quality of college science periodicals based on perceived quality. It firstly applies theories of marketing, service marketing, and service quality evaluation, discusses the service characteristics of college science periodicals, defines their customers, and analyzes customers' attributes.Second, on the basis of the five evaluation dimensions of SERVQUAL, we conduct needs analysis of customers'perception quality. Applying the questionnaire survey and the factor analysis, this paper determines the question items of quality evaluation and evaluation dimensions, and builds a SERVQUAL evaluation model and methods of college science periodicals based on perception quality.Finally, this paper puts forward a solution to the quality improvement of college science periodicals by means of system reform, organization security, system security, and personnel security.
