In recent years, school accidents occur frequently, and specific focus is given to the students'safety by the school, family and related social institutions.After listened to the school and parents and took the wide use of mobile phone into account, we put forward a solution based on RFID for student safety attendance signature system. In the system, many kinds of communication technologies such as SMS platform, RFID technology and Internet are combined for exchanging information by parents and students. Because of the program, we build a bridge between schools and families, which takes advantage of the automation and long distance read of RFID technology, as well as the convenience of short massage communication. Through this system platform, parents can keep connection with their children no matter where they are. Under the premise of not increase the burden on parents, we build a bridge between schools and families take advantage of the advanced technology.MVC framework is used to realize the system. With a thorough analysis of the parents'requirement, we put forward our holistic design process. By following design principles and functional goal of the system, we divide the functional modules. The user-interface mainly refers to the Web client implementation. Users can login the system to query and modify information anywhere with the login address we provide. Data processing layer need to implement the short messages dissemination (to send messages from school to parents through the system), the event monitoring (to monitor student for the event type) and the user identification (to identify user to prevent unauthorized persons). The function of the data collection layer is to gather information through the RFID readers and send it to the data processing layer. With this design process, it can reduce the coupling between modules and improve the robustness and strengthen the extensibility of the modules. Finally, we also consider the safety of the system, which include RFID date security and database security.
