Using RFID System And ASP.NET To Improve Attendance And Students Safety On School

Attendance is an important aspect in every education institution and workplace. Most university is still using the paper based attendance system. This thesis proposed a portable RFID based attendance system to replace the current method of attendance taking. The RFID based attendance is based around tracking student absences, since there should be fewer of them than presences. No re cord stored if they are present.The RFID based attendance system provide a convenient method in attendance taking by providing an RFID reader to uniquely identify the student carrying RFID tag and record the particular absentees data.In this thesis we plan attempt to exploit the FRID technology in education, in other words we exploit the FRID in manage the students attendance managements, which can allow the teacher or even the students parents to know where their children are by which teachers can or even parents know whereabouts their children at any given moment through the Internet, whether in school or even on the road to it.In this research we will discuss the modus operandi of RIFD in the field of education and schools which can replace the old manual methods of students attendance daily recording (hand writing methods), so it can automatically record the students absence and give detailed report about cause of the absence, this research consists of five chapters, in chapter1we present introduction about FRID system and usage in day life, in chapter2we focus on using the RFID technology on education field specially on school absence control system.The third and fourth chapters will try to design a virtual system, chapter3address the internal of the system which is the data base (in this project we use Oracle database), chapter4will study the system interface which we will describe some of the important web interface. Chapter5will show the evaluation of this research or the conclusion and also the future work.
