It's totally difficult to produce the facial expression of the virtual simulation of the role of three-dimensional animation.The virtual characters from the large 3D virtual Films of United States or Europe looks lovely and lively, of prominent image and vivid personality. However,because of short of capital and production cycles, The virtual characters from Commercial three-dimensional animation in China, just looks sluggish out of the mouth and does not match the type and dialogue, which is so hard to attract the viewers'resonance.This paper is aim to search out a technical solution not only to promote the quality of the virtual character animation without the high-quality hardware, baesd on the present conditions and technology in domestic animation industry, which is lack of funds and equipment, but aslo practically benefits the single person which careers in Animation.The full text can be concluded as the following paragraphs:1.Basedon the research of principles and methods of three-dimensional virtual character generation, we analysized and reviewed the present advantages and problems of the 3ds Max Design technology,then proposed the concept of role facial animation system based on 3ds Max2.According to the general function of facial muscles, we utilized the 3ds Max to design a real facial animation system as one way of solutions.By utilizing three-dimensional modeling, Zbrush sculpturing, texture mapping, skinning and other software function,we brought out the virtual character animation to show the examples of facial animation system design, methods and technology feasibility verification, we also build up the foundation of further research and development work.The real facial animation system designed in this paper is supposed tomeet the needs of individual animators short of high-quality motion capture equipment,It's would help to fully develop their creative potential to produce more vivid expression of animation.
