In recent years, the development and utilization of marine resources, especially oil and gas resources, more and more attracted national attention. Marine oil and gas has become the world's main source of growth in oil production. The accurate exploration of the marine oil and gas resources is the premise for the development of the marine oil and gas resource. Marine seismic exploration technology is a major Marine oil and gas exploration technology. Marine seismic streamer system is the key to marine seismic exploration. Marine streamer positioning system (the bird) is an important part of the marine seismic streamer system.Supported by National Natural Science Foundation of china and National High Technology Research and Development Program, control system of the bird is designed. During the process of modeling control system, assuming the boundary conditions, make the stress analysis of the bird, determine the equation of motion waterfowl, draw the control system diagram, and set up the control model based on artificial neural PID controller. Use Simulink to build simulation program and simulate the change of the depth for the bird with artificial neural PID controller in the case of the interference on depth direction Compare the simulation result with the one of the traditional control system simulation, getting the conclusions that the control system performance is improvedBased on the study, the software and the hardware of the bird controller are designed. First, principles design is carried out. According to the function of the bird, the components are selected and the system diagram is drawn. Second, PCB file is made with PROTEL. The appropriate package is selected and the controller is processed. Third, the program to achieve Ethernet communication, serial communication, motor drive and the program based on artificial neural PID regulator control is written by C51. According to the depth of instruction received through Ethernet and the depth of signal received through serial communication, the bird controller controls the motor rotation to achieve the bird to maintain equilibrium in the depth direction.
