In the new century, the railway along with the growth of new technologies has become animportant high-speed core component of economic development. The maturity and desire ofenvironment to increase demand for the construction of the railway will promote thecontinuous development. However, how to improve organizational efficiency and operatingthe railway station safety, reduce labor intensity station scheduling, integration of all types,make information gathering easier, resource sharing, and ultimately to achieve informationand decision support intelligence analysis has been the harmonious management of therailway stations and scientific development of the primary operation of the key issues.This paper studies utilization of train dispatching auxiliary decision support system inHarbin railway station. It designs and implements the dispatching auxiliary system at Harbinstation. The main contents are:(1) Introduction of theory and technology about automatic compilation of passengerstation plan. Compilation of passenger station's stage plan can be generalized to differentwork pieces sequencing problem such as arrangement of arrival-departure tracks, applicationof shunting locomotives, and application of passenger car servicing line. This paper has builtsequence model for stage plan. In the model, weight matrix from trains to devices has beenintroduced to reduce sequencing model's complexity. As a result a double-layer optimizationobjective function is created and it gives proper set of constraints which suits characteristicsof passenger train operation.(2) Make model and algorithm based on man-machine conversation type passengerstation plan. When the track is distributed to different tasks, adjustment can be madeaccording to the starting and ending time of track operation. Component technology isintroduced in this paper, and it gives theoretical support to system's reality.(3) System demand analysis at Harbin station. It gives a brief introduction to generalsituation of passenger equipment at Harbin station; passenger operation organizationcommand system; passenger operation process. It elaborates performance demand of train dispatching auxiliary decision support system at Harbin railway station. Function demand andperformance demand of railway passenger station's operation management system areanalyzed from the angel of system planning. Operation departments should coordinate witheach other and finish the task of receiving and departing trains; storage operations, servicingoperation.(4) On the basis of analyzing system's function demand and performance demand,system engineering is used to design system's general frame. Train dispatching auxiliarydecision support system at Harbin railway station is a system which supports productioncommand in daily operation. According to operation characters of each department, thesystem is classified into seven subsystems, which are shunting mayor subsystem; attendantsubsystem; wagon checker subsystem; technical operation countercheck subsystem; basic datamanagement system; train arriving-departure subsystem; design subsystem.(5) System design and implementation. Database logical design and man-machineinteraction design are based on frame design. The system's graphic interfaces mainly include:technical operation chart; display train existing on track; hook plan compilation, adjustmentand complementation; user login screen; day plan modification; data about trains of inboundand outbound; train time announcement; train out report inquiry interface. The system hasadopted ORACLE as backstage database and Visual C++6.0has realized the dispatchingauxiliary system at Harbin station.The system can display technical operation equipment in pictures; the subsystems canshare data and have interactive cooperation. Station operation plan can be made byman-machine conversation. Based on the system interface of TDCS, from real-timeacquisition train from TDCS, we use computer and computing power station on its ownnetwork of the station, attendant, assistant attendant, information management through thesharing of information operations will be integrated transfer station line, to achieve the stationof the type of work, coordination between the operating point operations and greatly improveoperational efficiency and operational safety of a comprehensive information supportingmanagement decision-making platform.
