Industrial Ethernet with the characters of low cost, general-purpose and high scalability has been widely used in industrial control field. In order to meet the hard requirements of industrial environment, ensuring safe and reliable of industrial application, enhance the reliability and stability of Industrial Ethernet by network redundancy technology has been an important point of research.The research work is about Industrial Ethernet redundant technology, the achievements of research obtained include:1) designed a reverse direction dual-ring with reverse direction redundant Industrial Ethernet system. In this system, network nodes link to two independent and parallel networks, and each network is constructed with two ring networks, which is in reverse direction;2) designed the data packet send algorithm;3) using frame queue to distinguish and discard repeated data frame;4) modified the forwarding algorithm in switch, in order to meet the requirements of the system.Several creations has been raised as following: 1) introduce reverse double-ring topology, and more stable than single-ring; 2) when a network node is detached from both networks, it can communicate with other nodes with the help of mid-nodes; 3) modified the forwarding algorithm in switch, using all the link in the network and eliminate network loop at the same time.
