Since 1960's and 70's,many countries of the world began to research the Maglev Train and Maglev transportation.By importing the technology from Germany, the first commercial line of high-speed Maglev has been set up successfully in Shanghai in China in 2003.The Tenth Five-Year plan and the 11th Five-Year plan all take high-speed Maglev Train technology nationalization as an important special Project.The Maglev Operation Control System(MOCS) is the core part of Maglev Train operation system and guarantees train's high efficiency and safe operation.MOCS is composed of Centralized Operation Control System(COCS),Decentralized Operation Control System(DOCS) and Vehicle Operation Control System(VOCS).DOCS is an important part of the MOCS.It accomplishes the tasks of Maglev Train scheduling operation,commanding organization and safety protection,etc.And the Decentralized Safety Protection Network is the essential communication medium of realizing the information transmission.But,nowadays foreign companies possess the key technologies and these technologies are not open.So,establishing the research of the Safety Protection Network is very significant.The research focuses on the followings:(l) Firstly,basing on the Safety Protection Network's function requirements of safe communication and IL-BUS fieldbus's shortcomings,thesis proposes the idea of using EPA replace IL-BUS and analyzing the feasibility.(2) Understanding the requirement of Safety Network,a Safety Protection Network scheme is proposed,by Combining EPA communication features.This scheme is based on the EPA Real-time Ethernet Communication Protocol,add application entity to the network and also concern the dual redundant technology to improve the system's function.(3) According to the above scheme,construct the network communication platform with singlechip microcomputer and Ethernet controller;with designing the software and hardware,realize the real-time communication basing on the EPA.The experiment results show that this scheme is feasible.In the end,the experimental limitations and further research are proposed.
