At first, this paper analyses the current situation, revolution and development direction of the publishing industry in China. Then, it elicits the importance and necessity for the "Shanghai Tiandi Wenzhi Company"-a developing private publishing company that takes itself competition development strategy as the thinking and research subject. Before conducting the self-analysis, the paper firstly analyses the external environment of Tiandi Wenzhi Company that is basic information of publishing industry at home and abroad, including China state-owned publishing industry, China private publishing industry and foreign publishing industry. Later, combined with the operation condition of self-business, personnel management condition and core competitiveness condition of the Tiandi Wenzhi Company, the paper analyses the rules of competition strategy from the aspects of integration and enhancement in core publishing contents, multi-aspects and multi-form development of publishing medium and the extension of publication contents in other industries; it systematically discuses the concept, meaning and performability of the innovative "trading and transformation platform of manuscript making right". At last, it makes a plan for the implementation of the company's competition strategy form the aspects of personnel, organization structure, marketing strategy, resources and channel, enterprise culture and management system, etc.
