Dunhuang Manuscript Pel.4022+P.3636, which I name it A Book-excerpt Written by An Unknown Writer in710A.D.-762A.D, is incorporated by two incomplete Dunhuang manuscript Pel.4022and Pel.3636,and it is still lack of other not found fragments.This paper is focus on following contents from the perspective of philo-logy.First,make a review on the study history of Pel.4022+Pel.3636; Second,make the relations beween Pel.4022and Pel.3636clear,describe its content correctly in short and correct some previous research;Third,make a new discussion on the written time of the Pel.4022+Pel.3636on the basis of previous research,and consider that the manuscript was written probably in the early8th century(710-762);Forth,after the analysis of the content and character of the P.4022+P.3636,we can conclude that the manuscript is a Book-excerpt instead of a real leishu,so we name it A Book-excerpt Written by An Unknown Writer in710A.D.-762A.D.;Fifth,make a research on the books in Pel.4022+P.3636,and do some books-saving works as much as possible;Sixth make a more accurate and more detailed proofreading and explanation to the manusc-ript and correct some previous research.
