Design And Implementation Of Paper Management System In Question Bank

The examination is an important part of the education system in China. It is important to design a question bank management system matched with the examination system. This study analyses the existing features of current software for examination systems in China, refers to the existing experiences on question bank management system, and observes the teaching facts and test models in primary and secondary education. As a solution to these problems in theses field, the browser/server based question bank management system is designed in the thesis.Our system is based on the J2EE software architecture, using the popular Struts, Hibernate and Spring open-source integration development framework is made with the B/S mode. The system has higher availability for the current examination system which is now an urgent need. Based on functional requirements, divide the question bank management system, into five major modules: examination paper management module, examination question management module, generating test paper module, user management module and background management module. Requirements analysis, design and implementation discussed in this paper is around examination paper management module. The examination paper management module includes two sub-modules: paper-upload sub-module and paper-store sub-module. Paper-upload sub-module provides the following features: word format documents analyzing, word format documents dividing, question property setting (add, modify, delete), and the questions storing. Paper-store sub-module is responsible for papers adding, papers deleting, papers modifying, papers searching, papers sorting, paper property setting and import and export of papers.We developed the system according with the principles of software development, combined with software engineering theory and development methods in practice and exploration. The results show that when compared with other similar systems, our system has wide applicability and scalability. The subject of questions can be dynamically allocated, dynamic change. Paper documents can be cut and restructed more efficiently.
