Power Plant have important position in production, but there are so many people in it .The core area of generators and Transmission Line is also in it. It is an arduous problem to manage so many people and protect generators in vast area. If we use people to manage it , it will add management cost. The sensor not only meets these requirements, and management cost is relatively low. Because sensor has features of Low power consumption, long time to use, easy deployment, they are being widely used in various fields.such as : Transport monitoring, power line maintenance, railway maintenance ,guards protecting. The visitor tracking system is based on ZigBee to use for manage people.We use Helicomm's ZigBee wireless terminal, study ZigBee-2007 specfition and IEEE802.15.4 standard, set up wireless based on mesh topology, develop power plant staff management system based on ZigBee wireless data collection. The Helicomm's reader collects every tag's location information, Master device collect the tag's information. The client transmits this information to upper computer through TCP/IP. The upper computer analyzes data and stores it in database. This system has convenient management good control and human machine interface. It can expand collection device .This project can be used for studying ZigBee application. It has some reference value.
